What we believe *
The core beliefs of Hoover Ministries are based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical Doctrines.
GoD
We believe there is only one God, who revealed Himself to humanity in the person of Jesus Christ.

Salvation
We believe salvation is only found in Jesus Christ and is appropriated to humanity by God's grace through the New Testament new-birth experience.
Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8; John 3:3-7
New Birth experience
We believe when someone receives the baptism of the Holy Ghost/Spirit, that person will speak with other tongues under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and will be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

Holiness & Christian Living
We believe disciples of Christ are called to live an inwardly and outwardly holy, pure life before God and all humanity.

2nd coming of Jesus & Eternal life
We believe the church will be raptured by Jesus Christ at His 2nd coming after the Great Tribulation takes place, and will exist with Him forever in eternity.

The great tribulation
We believe the Great Tribulation is the wrath of Satan making war with the saints in the end time, where the Antichrist will rise up and work alongside the False prophet to develop a beast system. Great persecution of Christians and Jews will be prominent.

Healing, signs, & miracles
We believe God's supernatural power is still active in the church and healings, signs, and miracles are available to God's people through faith, and activated by the agape love of Jesus Christ.

5-fold ministry
We believe God has given the gift of the 5-fold ministry to the church of today just as it was operating in the early church. These are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.

gifts of the spirit
We believe God has has given 9 gifts of the Spirit in areas of revelation gifts (word of knowledge, word of wisdom, & discerning of spirits), speaking gifts (diverse tongues, interpretation of tongues, & prophesying), and power gifts (healings, faith, & working of miracles). All gifts are activated by faith in Jesus through the agape love of Jesus Christ.

deliverance
We believe God intends for people both in the world and the church to be set free of demonic influences and calls us as believers to walk in the power of the Holy Ghost with authority in casting out devils as the Lord leads.
